Friends of the Library – Established 1996 (Currently Disbanded)
Mission Statement
To support the West Lincoln Public Library through advocacy, volunteer and program support, community engagement and fundraising.
Who Are the Friends of the Library?
Friends of the Library are community members who support the library and its services by providing time and/or expertise. We are volunteers who want to ensure that resources are always available at all three branches of the West Lincoln Library.
Our group participates in community outreach, attends community events, organizes fundraising events to support and promote Library services that are not attainable through library funds, and advocates for a strong public library system in West Lincoln.

Achievements Over the Years
The Friends have contributed over the years to the library through volunteer support and monetary gifts, supporting children’s programs, early readers, collection development, program & services and equipment/furniture additions to each of our library branches.

Established in 1996 we thank those who pioneered the initiative and developed the Friends of the West Lincoln Public Library, we thank those who over the past 23 years have supported, volunteered and raised much needed funds for the West Lincoln Public Library. We celebrate each and everyone of you!
