TD Summer Reading Program 2010
The Summer Reading Progarm will begin July 2nd
Every summer children can improve their reading skills and reduce summer learning loss while having fun. Each year, public library staff develop a wide range of exciting activities around a different theme to help children enjoy reading.
Children, 12 and under, who register with their local library for the TD Summer Reading Club receive a poster, stickers and an activity book all free as a part of their reading kit.
This year's exciting TD Summer Reading Club program is Destination Jungle. Come explore the wonders of nature in the jungles of the world, go on exciting voyages and travel to exotic lands by exploring the shelves of your local library.
Activities:
Halaloo the Clown will be coming on Wednesday July, 7th @ 1PM to lead explorers on a balloon Lion Hunt! Registration is Required
Seuss on the Loose in the Jungle on Wednesday July, 14th @ 1PM to play games, read stories and win prizes! Registration is Required
Where the Wild Things Are on Wednesday July, 21th @ 1PM
Registration is Required
Sing and Play in the Jungle on Wednesday July, 28th @ 1PM
Registration is Required
Craft Day on Wednesday August, 4th @ 1PM
Registration is Required
Traveling Reptile Show will be coming on Wednesday August, 11th@1PM Registration is Required, $2 per person
Games Day on Wednesday August, 18th @ 1PM

Jungle Celebration on Wednesday August, 25th @ 1PM
