For items not located in the West Lincoln Public Library, our interlibrary loan service will try to obtain the material from another library. Through our interlibrary loan service, you have access to millions of books!

This process can take from 4 weeks on average. This is a free service to our patrons although, in a very few cases, a fee could be involved. The patron will be notified of this possibility before the item is ordered. There is a limit of three requests at one time. Patrons will be notified by phone or e-mail when the material arrives. Loan periods will vary depending on the source library.

If a book is damaged or lost, the patron will be charged the rate of replacement as per the lending library's policy. Interloan privileges can be limited or revoked at our discretion.
